'Do not have permission to restore to that location' when restoring from a memory stick

Just had to re-install Accounts 2013 as computer crashed. All loaded ok from disk, but when I try to restore from my potable stick it doesn't list where to restore to, and when I try to restore to Reckon Accounts it says I do not have permission to restore to that point.

Welcome to the Reckon Community and thank you for your question.
You may experience this issue if you do not have the full permissions where you are trying to restore the file to.
Try creating a new folder on C Drive name "Reckon Accounts data Files" and try to restore there.
If you are trying to restore on a stand alone PC then you may try the default location which is
Win 7 : C:\Users\Public\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\Sample Company Files\Reckon Accounts 2013
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\Sample Company Files\Reckon Accounts 2013
