Upgrade from Quicken Personal Plus 2004 to 2015 Error

I have a file in Quicken Personal Plus 2004 that I have tried to import into Personal Plus 2015.  I am using the trial version as I feared it wouldn't work.  Looking at other posts I have used the "supervalidate" in 2004, changed to a short file name and also removed password.  None of this has worked as I still get the error of "Unable to load DLL: C:\Program Files (x86)\Reckon Accounts Personal\convert03\qd3.dll".  That file is definitely installed on my computer though.  I have reinstalled 2015 with no luck.  I don't have any other versions of Quicken to convert to as a "midway point".  That can I do please?  Thanks.

    Your problem is that Version 2004 files can not be read by Version 2015.

    You need to go through a conversion process, which is surprisingly difficult.

    The answer is "rtfm", as you will need to install some older versions of QPP to convert the database ( I think you may need to install multiple versions, which is quite ridiculous!)

    Reckon should provide a conversion utility which can detect what version the files are and export a database compatible with the latest version.

    Thanks John,

    Do you have any idea where I can find older versions of Quicken to install through?  I don't own any other versions and I haven't found any on the web.

    Reckon did provide an upgrade service for files, where you could send in your database or backup and they would return in the latest format.

    I am not sure what service they provide now !
