Recording GST on a Deposit - How to?

Hello, I recorded recurring deposit transactions for Rent (Income) as a deposit to bank account in the main screen. I thought the GST was picked up automatically but it didn't. I'm trying to modify the already recorded deposit transaction but there is no column to add GST on it. What can I do???? Thank you !

    Hi Ivonne, You can process a gener journal. DR Bank Account CR Rental Income GST Kind Regards Kay KML Bookkeeping

    Alternatively you can generate an invoice & apply the payment to the invoice . You can not account for GST using Deposit function

    Your Welcome, best thing would be to generate invoices for the income you can set up a memorised transaction for regular transactions
