How do I cancel my GST in Reckon Account plus 2014? As I am no longer registered

How do I cancel my GST in Reckon Account plus 2014? I have been registered for GST since 2004 and as of February I have cancelled this registration and am no longer charging GSt to my clients. How do I do this in my accounting program? Thanks

    Hey Kitty, welcome to the Community and thanks for your post. You can turn off tax tracking in your Preferences. Edit > Preferences...>Tax.

    Hi Kitty,

    I would also modify your Invoice/Sales Receipt templates to remove the associated GST/tax columns.

    as this is mid term, will it have a date that the gst is no longer collected from? I have done the same thing but still need to pay gst upto the non registration date.  is there a way to do this so that my past collection and payments are still included?
