For every job, I estimate the costs associated with that job. I want to compare my estimated costs with what the actual costs ended up being. where do I enter estimated job costs?

Hello Hannah
Company
Planning and Budgeting
Setup Budgets
You then specify the year, profit and loss, then on the next screen select Customer:Job
If you don't know the timing of when cost will come in then put all in one month, at the start of the project.
When you then run a Budget vs Actual ensure that the start date is the month that you entered the budget into.
If a project spans over a financial year then just make sure that you still go back to the start date of the project, not just the current year data.
