I am running Reckon Accounts 2015 through parallels on a Mac Book. I was able to work on my files yesterday. When I tried to open a company file today I got an Error Code (-6000, -107) An error occurred when Reckon Accounts tried to access the company file. I repaired Reckon through the windows control panel. Uninstall Quickbooks and reinstall a fresh copy and also restored my back up of Monday, but still have the same problem. I then opened a new company file but had the same problem

    Hi Jan,

    Thank you for your post!

Normally that error indicates the corrupted network data file(.ND/.Tlg) file but it can be the company file and sometimes it can be the installation itself!

If you have already tested with new file and other files and still same issue, surely it is an issue with the installation file damaged. Since you have already tried with reinstall and repair, I believe you will have to run a clean uninstall of the program and remove its traces completely off the registry as well.

I would recommend you to follow the steps below in order:

1.Perform clean uninstall as per below KB,
    http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=331

    2. Run clean up utility tool from the link below, try revo and make sure Reckon is  removed from the pc.

    3. Create new windows profile,

    4. Turn to a selective mode,

    5. Log in as new user and install software.

I hope it should be fine then, if you do not skip any of those steps and if followed in order.

If any issues, please feel free to let me know,

    Regards,
