Reckon Accounts Personal - error opening file

I am trying to open a clients file in Reckon Accounts personal Plus 2016. I have downloaded the software with a key etc but when i open the file it comes up with this error 
'this file contains one or more accounts that require access to features not currently activated (eg investing, business). for information on how to upgrade, click renew or upgrade licence in the help menu. 
i have gone to renew/upgrade licence but it comes up with there are no unpaid invoices in the list. 
How do i fix the error?

    Just check if your client is running:

    - Reckon Accounts Personal Plus 2016  
         OR
    - Reckon Accounts Home and Business 2016

    My immediate concern is that this one and same installation kit  triggers the installation of one of those two products, based on the KEY.  Just be sure that bot sites are trying to run ghe same end product.
