Hi Jo -Anne, Your client will need to share their file with you, they can do this through the control panel

Hi Kay, I currently use my clients login and have gone into the control panel to set me up. It asks me for my IKC, but I don't believe I have received one for Hosted.

If you are a Professional Partner you will have your own Reckon ID. You don not add yourself as a user in the control panel. In the Control Panel you share the data file and enter in your Professional Partner ID eg. 123456-1 The client logs in with their ID and you log in with your ID.

Hi, I have had to get Reckon set me up manually, but of course now they are not available. I am able to access my client's file however, when I open the file the login page comes up. When my client is logged out I can go in using her user name, but when she is logged in, I cannot gain access.

In the data file set yourself up with a user account and set the permissions you require.
    Company Tab Users

Ensure that the file is in multi user mode, then you both can be logged in at the same time.
    File Menu to switch.

The will be some things that will need to switch back to single user mode to do, importing iif files, backups, some changes to chart structure.

Have you made sure as Adrian suggested that the file is in multi user mode?
