We have been notified that there is currently , of ASIC customers receiving fraudulent emails purported to be from ASIC.

The email's title is 'Request for ASIC correspondence reprint' and states that the customer has requested an invoice reprint.

The email contains a link directing customers to download an invoice.

The details on the invoice do not belong to ASIC and are designed to mislead customers into incorrectly making a payment. Hovering over the 'retrieve a copy' link will confirm redirect to origins which are not any ASIC URL address as seen below in the image.

If you or your customers receive a fraudulent email, please ignore it. You can also report it to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's ScamWatch at http://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam.

Please disregard this email, and contact ASIC on the above link.
