Reckon Accounts Business - 1st October Tax Table Update


Hi everyone,
We have now released a new version of Reckon Accounts Business (Desktop) that includes the updated ATO PAYG tax tables.
Log in to the Reckon Members Site now to download and install the updated tax tables, and ensure you remain payroll compliant for the 2016/2017 financial year.
The new tax tables take effect from 1 October 2016.
Ensure you process employee pay for up to and including 30 September 2016 prior to installing this update; otherwise the pay calculations may not be correct.

Yes that is correct, this update is required for AU users to take care of PAYG changes from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) to take effect on October 1.

If you click the 'Install Update' button above, it will take you directly to the update after logging in with your Customer ID & PIN

Thanks for asking.
It may not be a problem.
Please go to Employees > Tax Table Information and click on the Tax Table Info button. do you see the following:
If you see the last line your ATO TAX Update 1/10/16 is properly installed.
This patch does install quickly, so if you set it off a second time you will get this error message. .

The latest tax table update outlined above is available to the current version of Reckon Accounts Business only.
You will need to upgrade to the current version of Reckon Account Business.
If you give our Customer Service team a call on 1800 RECKON (1800 732 566) we can go through the upgrade options, functionality and pricing with you.
