Statements printing twice

Hello, we have a problem when printing out our monthly statements, when we print a bulk lot the printing popup counts the pages as its print then it seems to freezes and then restart printing again.  For example, yesterday it printed up to page 7 then froze and restarted printing then froze on page 17 then restarted and printed the whole lot.  We ended up with three copies of the first 7 pages printed and two copies of the next 10 pages.
Is anyone else got this problem?  Or know how to stop this?
thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi there Maria,
I can't say that I've heard of this kind of occurrence before, does it happen regularly for you or once in a while?

You've tagged both the Accounts Business & Hosted products categories on the thread, but can you let us know which product/program & version you're using.

If Hosted, do you have a stable & fast internet connection? Do you experience freezes or skips in other areas of the program?

    Hello Rav,
We're using Reckon Accounts Enterprise 2017 and it has happened every month since we started with Reckon, April 2017 (i've just been notified now!).
Our internet is pretty stable, don't have any problems with it.
    thanks
    Maria

    Hello Rav,
We have just printed our November statements and had this problem again, it printed 7 pages (7 customers) then stopped, it restarted and printed 20 pages/15 customers (7 of which printed in the first print run), then stopped again and restarted printing, this time printed the whole batch.  My colleague only pressed the 'print' button once and our internet is pretty stable.  She said the pop up printing box kind of loses colour then flashed back, so maybe it is freezing.
Be glad of any help as it very annoying!!
    thanks,
    Maria

Rav this has actually been a problem with our system also. Printing statements can be a 3-4 hour process.  Usually gets to a random count on screen " printing page 15 for example " prints the first 15 after thinking for an hour or two and then just starts again. Usually only wasting 15-20 pages. Today the same process has been ongoing for 4 hours and it has printed the first 18 pages 5 times now. Closed out, restarted the pc, started printing statements and same deal.  I see Maria has had no further response to her post 5 months ago so I ask you has there been a work around ? I have always assumed it is because our data file is too large @ 1.5gb. Unfortunately this is just one of a string of problems I am hoping will go away with 2018.

Rav, I see still no reply/solution to this one either. You have ignored the emailing problems after asking for customers to send you all the info and it appears same here. Maria gave you the information and surprise, no reply. I have been with Reckon since V2 and Dean knows me very well as we worked through Reckon teething problems in the early days but support nowadays leaves a lot to be desired. We continue to have the same problem as Maria with no sign of a fix or even the slightest interest. We waste 100-150 pages a month doing our statements and wait up to 4-5 hours for the statements to print. It would be really appreciated if you could at least respond with any suggestions. I have attached a photo of the pages wasted on this months statements alone with constant spooling issues.

Hi Orkun, thanks for your comment, we are still having the same problems, very frustrating each month but just put up with it as Reckon's service is crap, specially in New Zealand.
Even happens with brand new computers, new login etc.
Such a waste of time, money, paper and trees
