Reckon Accounts plus 2018 and am trying to update my data but am getting this error message:

    Welcome to the Reckon community Danny,

    As a first step, click File > Utilities > Stop Hosting Multi-User Access, close and reopen Reckon Accounts; it should open without error.

    If the problem persists then review this article as your security on your PC may be blocking the proper operation of Reckon Accounts.
