Closing off a credit note

I have a credit note that I have been working my way through for the last 18 months.
It is now used up but when I try to allocate funds to take it to zero Reckon says:
  • This book has been locked off until 1 July 2017. Transactions dated on or before this date can't be added, edited or deleted unless the lock off date is changed.

    I am guessing this is a bug. Any hints on a workaround or a fix?

    Apologies Bob, not sure how I missed your post.

    It sounds like there is a lock date set in your Book settings. You'll need to unlock it first, check out this KnowledgeBase article here -
