my new software will not meld with my old.

I have 2015 plus. Purchased 2019 Plus. When downloaded was not able to merge as wasn't highlighted. Purchased as an upgrade but if it doesn't work with the old then it's not what it is supposed to be.

    Sorry but could you give me a bit more info on what you mean by the following -
    When downloaded was not able to merge as wasn't highlighted.
    If you have any screenshots that would be extra helpful (use the camera icon in the forum reply window to upload an image).

    Would have to download the whole thing again to get that. There was an option for my existing software but it could not be clicked on. So it downloaded as a separate entity. There does not seem to be any way to transfer my data to the new software.

    Steve - are you talking about the screen where it asks which location to install the 2019 files into?  this is set by default to a new folder for the 2019 version so that it doesnt overwrite your old version - once installed - you just need to go to Open an Existing Company - navigate to whereever you keep your 2015 datafile and then open that - it will upgrade and all your data will be preserved..
