I have upgrade to payroll premier 2019 - 2020 from 2018 - 2019 but my companies didn't transfer over

I have upgrade to payroll premier 2019 - 2020 from 2018 - 2019 but my companies didn't transfer over and when I tried to restore them they have disappeared. Help please.

    When you look at the files in your C drive - can you see still a QprollV27 and a QprollV28?  if you installed in the default locations last year and this year - then it should have found your companies and asked if you wanted to upgrade them?  did you see these steps come up when you first opened 2019/20?  your data should either still be in QprollV27/data or QprollV28/data?
