cannot get email setup for reckon accounts 2020

I have been trying repeatedly to get the emailing of invoices for Reckon Accounts Premier: Accountant Edition setup.
I try 
Edit>Preferences>Send Forms
Choose Gmail 
[email protected]
smtp.gmail.com
Port 587

And it tells me wrong name or password, even though there is no provision to put in password,
and I am logged into it via Windows Mail.

When I try & use my iinet email it gives me an error.

    Hi David, 

    This issue is caused when Reckon Accounts is not granted sufficient privileges to send an email from Gmail. We have an article on our help website to assist with this issue. 

    Gmail block emails from Reckon Accounts Business

    Please check it out and make changes to your Gmail account accordingly.

    Tried that and it is still doing it.
    (also tried closing & restarting Reckon).

    Any ideas?
