QuickBooks 2008/2009

I have had to get a new hard drive & upgraded to Windows 10. QuickBooks 2008/2009 installed perfectly & I have restored my files with no trouble. HOWEVER, support has stopped for this old version so it can't be activated. I don't want to upgrade to a newer version because I will be closing the business in a couple of years. Does anyone know of a work-around? I have it installed & activated on my old hard drive & also on a VERY slow laptop but the idea was to down size the office equipment. I could install the old hard drive in the new computer & boot from that drive when I needed to do an invoice but there must be an easier way.
