Lump Sum B missing from lodged return

in Reckon Elite
This is another issue that a Reckon Elite user has asked to be raised in the Community Forum.
I am not sure if it is an ATO or an Elite problem:-
- An amount is entered via the PAYG Summary entry for Lump Sum B (5% assessable) and this amount appears on the Return at Label H and is included in the calculation of taxable income. The assessment issues from the Tax Office not including this amount at all and when we look at the details as per the ATO Portal version of the Return Lodged it does not appear. We are wondering if it is somehow being lost in the transmission process and don’t know if this is an Elite software problem or an ATO problem. This happened with two clients whose assessments issued on 15th September 2020.
Lump Sum B amounts are not a very common item these days so you may not have come across this problem as yet.

Elite Development have examined this issue & advised the following:
There are scenarios where it won’t transfer
When the user is in the Reportable Fringe Benefits field, the yellow information box at the bottom mentions that if the amount on a payment summary is less than $3773 (amount changes year to year) it shouldn’t be entered. If the user does enter an amount less than the threshold, then it will not transfer to IT1.
Hopefully that helps.
Could you please look at this again. Lump Sum B has nothing to do with Reportable Benefits. It is part of an amount paid out to employees on termination and as I mentioned, it is fairly rare these days but 5% of the amount at Lump Sum B is assessable.
