Payment Terms Disappearing


I've had a problem with quite a few customers invoicing. When I enter an invoice, the payment terms are blank, I choose eg 30 Days EOM, print the invoice & I'm asked to save the change in payment terms, which I do. 99% of the time, when I invoice them again, I need to do this again.
Has anyone had this problem and was able to fix it?

I haven’t heard of that happening before but if you save the default terms in the customer record, it will autofill for you when you create an invoice for that customer.

You'd think so huh! All my customers have terms entered in their customer record - the main one that annoys me is our biggest customer, so it comes up often. I thought it was only a glitch in the older version, but since upgrading to Accounts Premier 2020 it still happens.

That's very odd …. Try running the "Verify" (File > Utilities > Verify Data) & then running the "Rebuild" (File > Utilities > Rebuild Data) & see if that fixes it.

Maybe try changing the inv template, got nothing to lose. greate a new one, you dont have to keep using it.

That has been done :( I think it's odd that it's been happening since the 2014 version.

I'll give it a go - it does happen when I do a Sales Order for them to, through to Invoice.

I've tried all of these suggestions - thanks people! Unfortunately nothing has worked & now it's happening on all customers' records. The terms box is empty every time I do an order confirmation or an invoice.
