Hosted v Desktop

Hi all, I am looking at moving to Hosted after using Desktop for over 20 years.

I am trialling Hosted but Reckon Advantage cannot seem to help me figure out how to Save and Open the Hosted file in my Desktop Version, though they say is it possible.

Does anyone do this??

When travelling on holidays I need to have it on my Desktop as I don't always have wifi when travelling so this is not ideal.

I would love some help figuring this out, before moving over and finding it is not ideal.

Hosted is the online equivalent of the desktop "Enterprise" version - Is that the same as your current desktop program or is your existing one a lower version (eg Premier, Plus etc) ?

Once you sign up for Hosted, you can request a complimentary copy of the Enterprise desktop version.  It is this program that you can open Hosted files in - They won't be accessible in any of the lower desktop versions.

Thank you Sharon, I am new to Hosted and had not heard it called the Enterprise version.

So you mean the Accounts Plus 2021 will no longer be able to be used is that right?

As when I spoke to them a few days ago they told me to back the file up to my Desktop and then open Plus 2021 and then open the file, but it did not happen.

So where do I get the Enterprises version from?

You can request the link to download it by calling or emailing Reckon but you need to be a paid Hosted user (eg not just the trial version) to be eligible.
