I am still unable to open the reckon payroll app. All I get is a blank white page. I’ve followed all suggestions. I can log in via the web address but goes to reckon one when I need reckon payroll. Please help me?!

Have you previously been able to login and use the Payroll App successfully or is this your first attempt?

Are you using the latest version of the Payroll App? Currently v2.18.9. If not, please ensure you download the latest update from your app store and then retry.

Where specifically is the blank page appearing? As soon as you launch the app OR after entering your login details OR after entering your Multi-Factor Authentication security code?

Hi Tav, my iPhone and the app are the latest version on AppStore. I attempt to open the reckon payroll app and as soon as it launches it goes to a blank white page without my entering any log in details and doing anything. I haven’t logged in for some weeks, I have previously used the app since December 2020, and I really need it to function as it has all my pay records for the 2021-2022 financial year on it!

Go into Settings > Payroll app > Enable FaceID then launch the Payroll app and say 'Yes' to FaceID if you're prompted.

After you do that the page should render properly and allow you to proceed.

Ah! My Face ID has stopped working on my phone. Can I log in any other way? Can I use the web And passwords instead of the app? It is there anyway to access my data to date?

Hello Sari. If you can access Reckon One on the web then does not that give you the data you need? Do you also have subscription to Reckon One?

If you have a premium plan with Reckon Payroll app then you should be able to use the web browser to access it to manage the Payruns from your computer. But the issue is your web access seems to default to the Reckon One account based on what you mention.

Perhaps this needs to be resolved by the Reckon admin support team.

You could try the Reckon member portal to verify what your profile actually mentions about access to Reckon products.

Once you've opened the app and logged in you'll be able to switch off the FaceID login option in the Payroll App settings.

Also, just one small addition to my instructions above, a fellow Community member has advised that once you follow the path that I outlined in my previous reply you can use Siri to open the app.

Hi @Rav - same issue, on iPhone SE / iOS 14+ the latest app update has broken things. Have even re-installed but still no good. Basicaly opening he app shows a spinning / busy for a split second then just hangs on a completely blank white screen. Any chance you guys can test on iPhone SE with iOS 14+... seems a few of us are having this issue now?

Hi @Rav - sorry, I do not use Face ID... I've switched over to an Android device which looks like it does not have the same bug so may not be a big issue for me... thanks for looking into it.
