Reckon One downgrade

I have a client who no longer needs all the modules he's paying for in Reckon One. He has asked me whether data in those modules is still retained if he downgrades or is it lost? Many thanks

    Thanks @sunbeammadd

Ok so I've spoken with the Reckon One team and they've confirmed that data will be retained for a period of 7 years if a module, or even the Reckon One book entirely, is deactivated.

Note: If the account holder requests to specifically delete the account itself entirely at any stage this will override that and all data will be deleted & inaccessible.

    Hi @sunbeammadd

When a Reckon One module is removed it removes the ability to access any functionality related to it. I believe the data itself will be retained but I'd need to get confirmation on that. Can you let me know which modules you're looking to remove specifically and I'll check in with the team.

Thanks Rav, He's looking to drop from Premium down to Basics, so it would primarily be his payroll data I think.

The other question is, if he cancels his account altogether is the data still retained anywhere or is it erased? I know with one of your competitors the data can be accessed again by resubscribing, but I'm not sure if Reckon works the same way.

    Many thanks
