Payroll Liability


Could some pls advise how to clear the following payroll liability.


When an employee does not provide correct resignation notice we deduct 1 weeks wage. At present it is assigned to Payroll Liability account 2100. Is this the correct set up for this deduction? How do I clear this liability and to what account. The expense account for the normal wage is 5104. Should it not relate back to Account 5104?
