Access Denied auregfind Query Failed when exporting STP file

Hi

I don't recall seeing this error last week (I did software update last week before first payroll run for 24/25.)

Today lodging the single touch payroll , I select the employees then clicked on "EXPORT" I get this error popup

"ACCESS IS DENIED"

auregfind Query Failed

Click ok - it generates the report, and i uploaded it ok to the portal.

STP file has uploaded sucessfully.

So what is causing this error?

I do not recall it being there last Sunday on the first pay run.

    Hi @Luke_7150954

    Does your company file name contain any special characters such as \ , /, :, *, ?, ", <, >, |
    (those are just an example, but it could be any specific character).

    If so, can you please rename your file to remove any of those characters. Retry after that and let us know whether the error message continues to appear.

    Hi Rav

    Only have a hyphen - that has been there for 20 years.

    And no change to company file name in a few years.

    I just removed the hyphen - reopened file - still have same error.

    Any other ideas?

    Aside from the upgrade to the 2024 edition, were there any changes in relation to info or details when it comes to your company info?

    Can you do me a favour and just check one other thing; go to Company ➡️ Company Information and just check whether your company name field has any special characters there?

    Hi Rav

    Yes we had a - in there (company information, company name), have removed that and when submitting today no issue. Very odd , the - (special character) has been there for around 20 years. Something in the code must have changed.
