Upgrade help required please.

I currently use Quickbooks Plus 2010-12010-11. I originally purchased program. I did not do annual updates as I did not require the extra features. This program is loaded onto an old laptop that is never connected to the internet and only used for this program. Said computer is starting to have issues. Can anyone give me advice as to the possibility of transferring program to a new computer. If this isn't possible then any recommendations on my best course of action. I only require to be able to record deposits and withdrawals,, monthly reconciliation, quarterly BAS, annual general ledger for accountant.

You should be able to download the program from your Reckon Members site.

I've contacted reckon and been told discontinued program and that i need to buy new at $800/year subscription with 50% discount on first year. Considering we are winding down our business life, that's too much of an expense for us. Any advice welcomewelco.

We recommend to migrate from your older QuickBooks Plus 2010-11 (can be upgraded through a trial 2010-11 --> RA 2024, then to the Reckon One via the MMC Convert service.

The trouble going to Reckon One for them is the learning curve and if they are at the end of their working time it may be too hard. If they are not connected to the internet, it would not work.
