I have just moved my RPP V31 to a new laptop and all my transaction attachments have disappeared. The attachment folder is still sitting within intuit/quicken/account name, but the actual documents have gone. They were there when I first installed the program and restored from a backup per Reckon instructions, but after Microsoft grabbed my C drive data to the One drive cloud they have disappeared.

I have a backup of this folder and sub folder on an external drive. Should I try to restore the attachments from that location? I don’t want to create a further problem.

I am new to the community and hope that I am asking an appropriate question for the forum.

    Hi @manyreasons

Just a quick question to clarify, is your file stored on OneDrive or are they on a local destination on your PC?

    Hi Rav

On setting up the new laptop I had all my files on the c drive. When One Drive kept pestering me to “finish setting up One Drive” I quickly realised that it had removed all my “My Documents” folder files to the cloud. At that point I didn’t check the program data folders. I moved all the folders from one drive back to my C drive “my documents”, decoupled myself from one drive cloud and then noticed that when I opened Quicken there were no attachments.

The program data folders are all on the C drive. There is actually an attachment folder sitting on Intuit under the quicken data folder account, but it is empty.

So all on C drive now.

I am a Mac person, so not a windows native at all, although have been on quicken PP for 25 years plus. The new laptop is only running quicken.
