Payday Super with Beam & Reckon One

Just seeking confirmation around Pay Day Super. As an employer I currently use the Beam Clearing House to pay SG quarterly and it is fairly straight forward which I am thankful for. Am I correct in assuming that once Pay Day Super commences on 1 July 2026:

1.I can continue to use the Beam Clearing House to meet my SG obligations. Is it Pay Day Super compliant?

2. The process will be exactly the same, the only difference being the batch dates will be weekly (employees are paid weekly) rather than quarterly.

Is there anything I am missing?

I can't advise you on any compliance requirements around that (if any) but from a Reckon One software perspective, there are no restrictions on being able to do that.

You’ll still be able to create and submit a batch to Beam even if the previous quarterly super batch hasn’t been sent.

One more clarification needed, since the SG payment for April, May, June =Qu4 is not due till 28 July and Pay Day Super begins on 1 July, I'm assuming the software will not have a problem processing a Pay Day Super batch when the quarterly batch for Qu4 may be paid AFTER those weekly Pay Day Super batches. That is, the software won't present an 'error' message because I'm paying a weekly Pay Day Super batch, when I have not yet paid the previous quarter (hope that makes sense)

Hi @redman

Great to hear you're already using Beam with Reckon One for your super lodgements.

To answer your questions, yes you can continue to use Beam in the same way you are now once Payday Super kicks in on July 1 so you're already on the right track. Once it does start, you will need to submit your super lodgement with Beam each time you complete your pay run ie. payday.

We're finalising a few things when it comes to Qualified Earnings and some other Payday Super requirements mandated by the ATO which we'll communicate soon but the process itself will remain the same.
