Has anyone come across a specialist who can assist with integrating Reckon POS with Woocommerce website platform?  My bookkeeper is in the dark and my website designer does not have any idea about accounting so I'm stuck in the middle!

Any luck finding someone M. Bell? Have you tried looking for companies that provide a connector service?

Hi there Brad, I have found companies that connect Woocommerce to the Reckon Accounts, but not the POS.  I'm still a little in the dark as to whether this can benefit me as some sync only daily, and I need the systems to be more current.  There is a QuickbooksPOS and Woocommerce integration plugin that a company has created, but it is apparently not available to Australian users (Being U.S  Quickbooks I gather) : http://61extensions.com/shop/woocommerce-quickbooks-pos-integration-2103/
This was ultimately the perfect thing I am looking for...

Does 61extensions plugin work for the Australian versions of quickbooks though?

61 Extensions have replied saying no with no explanation why, even though Reckon is apparently just white labelled.

That's a pity, maybe they are working on some bugs in it, i wonder what it is about the Australian version that makes it incompatible. I'm going to try http://onesaas.com/Integrate/woocommerce-with-quickbooks and see if it works as expected. Would prefer there wasn't an extra monthly cost but it is not easy to change a company to a whole different accounting software.

There is also another Australian company I was talking to, who integrate Accounting and POS softwares with Woocommerce.  They say they will have something available mid year with Reckon.  They currently work with Myob POS so I'm thinking I will wait for the POS integration.  Again, like you said, another monthly cost which is unfortunate.

Yep, I've placed an enquiry with them too on the weekend. Midyear would be reasonable, i don't mind if its not available right at the moment.

    Hi Mandy,

QuickBooks and Reckon Accounts (formerly QuickBooks AU) are actually quite similar re integration.

The issue would be that Intuit POS is a completely different product to our Reckon POS.

    Regards,
    Jason

    Update

We have contacted Linksync. They did not have any immediate plans to look at Reckon Accounts, however we have spoken and they are going to start reviewing later this month.

Of course it is their decision to link, not ours, so I would recommend you visit their site and request that they look at Reckon Accounts through their 'suggest an app' link.

See HERE and then click on...

The more requests they receive the better for our users who require this type of integration.

    Their current integrations include:

OneSaaS did have an integration with our product however they have recently moved to a new platform which broke desktop software connections. They have no immediate plans to address this, so again pressure from our end-users if the best option for action.

As for US providers and our version in AU. The AU SDK has remained stable for several years, however it is not the same as the US SDK for obvious reasons; taxonomy etc... Our SDK is available to these developers, so it is most likely a commercial decision on their part not to integrate.

Finally, our current 'listed' development partners are HERE  but there are many more who don't list, so it's just a matter of searching for them unfortunately. And of course, ALWAYS ask if they integrate with the AU version (generally 2008/09 and above) and whether you can test it for yourself in a trial type scenario.

    Kind regards,

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Magneto integration. Has anyone managed to link their Reckon product to Magento/ any other platform. It appears to be possible since the API is available)

We're are thinking about getting our web developers to make something but would rather see if there are any premade solutions already out there. Also, I was in contact with the SDK team trying to arrange an evaluation of the API but for some reason they stopped replying :S
