Reckon Home Inventory (AUST) is not working.

Only being trying for over 12 months now to get Home Inventory to work. Just crashes every time, without fail. Clicking on "Personal Assets" in Reckon P Plus 20105, just brings up a "restart your pc as QHI has just been installed" Clicking on "Reckon Home Inventory Manager" program shortcut (or main links to) brings up the "Welcome To Reckon Home Inventory" screen, then "QHI has stopped working" This happens every time on all four of my computers, my independent work PC, installing it too on friends pc. (Which is why I've re-registered my software so many bloody times now) Delete from one pc, try another. In total I've used four of my own, three work and five friends pc's. Same problem everytime. 12 computers. QHI doesn't work. Surely you've written a fix script by now!!! I've got 15 years of Personal Asset data-using YOUR program-that I NEED ACCESS TO ASAP... Fix it please......... Emailed Reckon today for a response, after trying all I could find online and in Reckon community. Still no answer from you. Was considering recommending Reckon to my boss as we still use 1987 DOS programs at my work. MYOB might be the better recommendation, especially given no-one responded to emails during AUS East Coast business hours.

Looks like I'm going back to spreadsheet (Excel/Open Office Calc) for my financial needs, especially now I can create a "Personal Assets" tab within a file, which wasn't possible 17 years ago.

If I was Reckon, I'd also be writing a fix for QHI for Windows 10, 'cause I bet ya it won't work with Win 10 either.

Thousands of Australian's who are YOUR CUSTOMERS have this problem and you have failed to address it. If I too, who-yep-works in Customer Service-took this long to resolve an issue for my clients I would EXPECT AT LEAST A WARNING, IF NOT BEING FIRED, by my employer. Not good enough Quiken/Reckon/Intuit or whatever the heck it is you call yourself this week, no doubt to avoid legal proceedings.

Doesn't take four hours to respond to customers, or are y'all at the pub having a long lunch 1980's style?

As far as I'm concerned, if Reckon PP can't show me actual, accurate and true Net Worth, then the product is as useless as tits on a bull!!

Alternatively, and I have to offer you right of reply. I'm employed part-time by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and do both off-air technical work for ABC Master Control Victoria, and some on-air things for 774ABC Melbourne (3LO); 3GV (ABC Goulburn-Murray/Shepparton/Albury/Corowa) and ABC Kinglake Ranges. I am now going to discuss the failures of your software on air as soon I get my next on-air opportunity, which I will also put out all of these statements via the ABC Twitter account. I will offer a rep of your company a right of reply. Can't wait to hear the "answers"

    Try this

    1. Uninstall Home Inventory using Control Panel.

    2. Ensure QPP (Aust) is still working correctly.

    3. Copy Quicken CD to a New Directory on your HD.

    4. Follow this Path HAB>DISK1>Reckon HI Manager>Installer>

    5. RUN QHINSTALLER.EXE
