bank reconciliation not working

I am trying to finalise a bank reconciliation in Reckon One and the screen lights up and returns me to the bank accounts page and the reconciliation has not saved. I have logged out and restarted the computer and still no success

    Hi Noeline The most likely cause will be because you have unreconciled transactions. You should still be able to print the Bank Rec Report via the reports centre. But the account will not show as reconciled until all transactions have been cleared (this might not be until the following month when they are actually presented).     So what happens when there is a historical transaction that I cannot write off without permission sitting in the bank rec? It will show as unreconciled until I can remove the transaction?
