Reckon 2015 Home Inventory installation problems

Installation of 2015 Personal Plus Home always stalls at about 90% installed.

I have uninstalled the program a number of times using RevoUninstaller, and have followed the tips of all the current posts of Home inventory problems. The end result is the same, the program will not fully install.

I do not have the install disks, the install files were downloaded from the web.

I am using a new computer, with Windows 10, 64 Bit. Reckon Accounts 2015 plus installed flawlessly and works fine, its just Home Inventory that I'm having problems with.

Reckon Community posts that have been referenced in my quest for a resolution.

    Hello Paul,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

I'm sorry that none of your efforts have produced a successful result.  The next steps to try are:

Create a new User with full Admin rights on your PC, login as that user and install Home Inventory Manager.  Run Qhinstall.exe as administrator from the RAP 2015 installation files folder (by default C:\Temp\Reckon_Accounts_Personal_2015) ...\HAB\DISK1\Reckon Home Inventory Manager\installer\

    If not successful,
Switch to Selective Startup and install according to step above

    If not successful,
Log in to the computer as the Built-In Administrator and install in Selective Startup.

Hopefully one of these will get you going.

    regards,
    John.

    John,

Many thanks for you quick reply. I'm happy to say that your first option worked a treat, and I can now get Home Inventory running.

    Thanks again for your assistance.

    Regards,

    Paul
