Updating credit card YODLEE

AMEX have updated my credit card number. It would be great if there were instructions somewhere in the Reckon Bankdata feed help (https://community.reckon.com/reckon/topics/setting_up_reckon_bankdata_for_accounts_business_2014) that gave instructions how to do this. I've changed the card number in Chart of Accounts and that didn't work. I've gone and added a new bank feed and got a new YODLEE ID and added that to Reckon Hosted and that didn't work. I'm totally lost and the HELP line aren't that helpful. It would be really great if these situations were clearly explained in the SETTING UP RECKON BANK DATA help posts.

    Hello Jay,

Sorry to hear of these difficulties.

The format of the card number that is being received by BankData from AMEX has changed.  Whereas your former card followed the format of listing only the last 5 digits of the card number, the new format is using the full number, with dashes and masking the first 10 digits.
Previously you entered the Card Number in the format 12345
    The new format is xxxx-xxxxxx-12345
(yes, you must include the dashes and lower case x's)

The general display of Credit Card Numbers (unless another specific formatting is used by the financial institution) is 1234-56xx-xxxx-1234.  This article tracks the known deviations from the standard.

Hope this is gets your account configuration back on track.

    regards,
    John.

I was using the HELP here: https://community.reckon.com/reckon/topics/setting_up_reckon_bankdata_for_accounts_business_2014

It had the incorrect information. Thanks very much for you updated reference. I'll get onto it now.

PS: Why is the above link incorrect? How do Reckon keep their FAQ database updated with the correct info? I'd like to be able to get it right first time...

    Hello Jay,

There was a new one made some months ago at this address:
    https://community.reckon.com/reckon/topics/setting-up-reckon-bankdata-for-accounts-business-and-acco...

I will see to the older version being removed.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience its continued presence caused you.

    regards,
    John.
