Amended payment summaries for previous years.

I have to submit amended payment summaries to the ATO for previous years. Apparently it must be done manually. Is there a way to retrieve the information generated in the EMPdupe file or is there a report I can generate to supply the information needed to complete on the ATO PAYG summary statement. Alternatively can it actually be uploaded on the ATO portal although there is no facility to indicate that it is an amended EMPdupe file?

    If you know how to alter the Empdup you can indeed submit an amended file. Call me if you think it will help. Kevin t:0407744914

    Thanks Kevin. I have created the Empdup files again for each of the years as I would normally do. Can I just upload those amended files on the ATO portal and will they know that they are amended files? Then I do not need to do it manually.

    No you cannot. You can edit the empdup file manually in Notepad. Search for the O (the letter) and change it to A. Voila You can then submit it via the BAS portal KR
