If I buy the new desktop pro2018and install on new laptop, will I be able to upload files from my ol

bought a new laptop, am using 2007/8 on the old one and wonder if I buy some thing new will I be able to upload the old data. I dont have the discs for my old 2007/8

    Just wanted to check something with you, we don't actually have a 2018 desktop edition called Pro (I believe that is a US version from a different provider)

    Didnt realise that was US.So if I go to Accounts Premier, do I have to pay a yearly registration fee?
