When entering new Customers they are defaulting to the top of the Customer List and not into alphabetical order within the customer list?  Also when adding new Job Numbers to an existing customer they are defaulting to the top of the job number list and not into numerical order.  What's happening??  HELP!!!

We had the same issue, we had to right click on the list and click on resort list, but you can only do it in single user mode, which made it even more a pain to do.

    Hi Bully,

Are you sorting the employees by first name or last name> If you go to Edit in the Top Menu Bar and in the drop-down list select Payroll and Employees. Next select the Company Preferences tab and you can choose to sort using either their first name of their Surname but I don't see anywhere to sort by employee number. May need to think about including their employee number into the employee name details if you want to sort by this way.

Hi Robert, Appreciate your response - my issue relates to the "Customer Centre" (not Payroll) - setting up new customers and jobs to be invoiced. Bully

    Hi Bully
It really helps to regularly "re-sort" all of your lists as this helps with the performance of Reckon and will keep all - Customers, Suppliers, Employees, COA and Items in alphabetical order also.
