I purchased a new computer last month with windows 10 operating system. I use Payroll Premier 18-19. Every week, the payroll system crashes either during a report run or compiling the STP report. THis week, I cant even log in! It just wont start, despite running the recovery program. My tech guy is a frustrated as me. We have reinstalled the payroll program 3 times. Is there a setting or something in Windows 10 which is causing this?

Have you tried verifying the data file? Have you tried running payroll premier on a different computer? I have PP running on Win 10 right here. Call me if you think I can help Kevin t:0407744914

What version of Windows 10 are you using? I have the Professional version on my laptop. I suspect its probably a fault in your data Have you tried restoring a backup prior to when the issue first occurred?

Thanks Kevin for your response.  It was a problem with the data file. Fortunately I had backups from my previous computer and we have worked thru each week again and now it all seems to be working fine. My first windows 10 computer had a fault and had to be returned to the manufacturer and my supplier thinks this is when the data file was corrupted. It's been a lot of work but at least all is working now. Thank you for responding.
