Trying to save an invoice as a PDF on Reckon accounts 2017, i have upgraded to a new computer and now cannot save my invoices to the existing file that i saved them to before. I get this message error: The file name you chose already exists and Reckon accounts can't overwrite the file. This may be read-only or currently in use.
I have uninstalled and re installed the PDF printer, made sure the port is correct etc....
I can save a PDF as a new file, I just can't overwrite a previously saved PDF. Any ideas?

Check the properties of the file you want to overwrite.  I have found that they are protected on odd occasions.  Just need to untick the box and you will be OK.
