customize a form not working ???

why when I add a column when I modify a form it does not pick up the column data , eg I customize a form but when I had a column from item field it doesnot pick up that data so if I want to add a bin location to the form it does not work ?

    Hi Rob

    * Check that you are using the current updated template that you've modified & not a previous/old default one.

    * In that template - under "Additional Customisation" - ensure you have ticked the checkbox for this column for "Screen" (not just "Print")
