When trying to access one particular customer account, via the customer centre and left clicking the customer name in the list, Reckon Accounts 2018 "experiences an error and needs to be shut down". However, other users are able to access this same customer account without an error. Are there any solutions for this? Thank you

    Hi Fleur,

A client of mine had this problem and they rebuilt the file and it helped. And yes, not everybody experienced the problem.

    Cheers,

    Sue

Hello there. I have the same issue. It used to be only one customer. Then after a month, another customer. Was this resolved?

    Hi Fleur,

The error indicates that your Reckon Accounts (desktop/hosted) data file has sustained damage in that database table relating to "Customers" records.

There may be customisations setup in the columns being displayed which are present on a particular users session that is not there when another user is logged in.

If this is a recent occurrence, you can consider restoring the last good backup set (assuming that backup was created at a time when there were no problems in the data file).

Recommend you request a data service by filling out the case request web form link.
    https://www.reckon.com/au/data-services-request/

If you provide the current damaged data file as well as a good older backup set, then this may assist in a speedy analysis and resolution.

    Regards,
