I've just started a reckon Accounts Accounting free trial and it is refusing to open, saying it encountered an error and needs to shut, leaving us unable to work in the program. Don't know what to do

Did the installation finish successfully? Did you turn off your virus software before installing? Are you able to post a screen shot of the error?0

Did you reboot computer before you started? Did You turn off anti virus as Linda suggested? Did you install reckon with the company file server or Reckon accounts only?
After you have re-run install, try right clicking and opening the program as administrator.
