importing a journal but not able to specify account code?

I have fathomed out how to import a journal - I found the template, managed to successfully import, however I was surprised (and disheartened) to learn that you have to state the written account name and do not specify account/GL numbers? This is under the column header "ACCNT" ...?

In Reckon Accounts, the "Account Name" is used as the primary identifier, whereas the "Account Number" is an optional identifier.
