incorrect ABN

I have a client who is setting up the STP App, but during the set up process has put the incorrect ABN number.  Can you please advise how this can be rectified.  No wages have been paid since 1 July 2019, and software has not been registered, once the error was realised.

    The incorrect ABN no is 94628126401 for GI & Co Pty Ltd.  We were trying to register the partnership GI & LM Webb ABN 37 709 101 558.  The client went too fast when setting up.

    Could you please advise if this has been corrected, so that my client can continue with their setup of STP on the App, as they have wages to pay.  Thanks

    Hi Michelle,
    The incorrect ABN has been removed from the app account.
    They'll need to logout of the app if they haven't done so already and then close the app in full ie. swipe it away from running apps.
    Log back in after a couple of minutes and the app will go through ABN setup again.

    Hi Rav
    Sorry to message you again, but I am still trying to register the correct ABN for my client - GI & LM Webb ABN 37 709 101 558.  We have just logged in again and we cannot pickup the correct ABN number to assign to their STP setup.  When i search this number, nothing is coming up, but it is the correct ABN.  Can you please check this again, because we cannot register, as their ABN is not being recognised.  The incorrect ABN has been removed, but won't let us register the right number.

    Hi Rav, my clients are coming back to finish the setup early Wednesday morning, as the ATO are requesting their STP to be set up asap.  It would be greatly appreciated if you can respond, so that I can let them know as tomorrow is a public holiday.  Thanks

    Sorry Michelle, I wasn't in the office yesterday so couldn't get back to you.
    In regard to the ABN in question, I can see that its available to register so it should appear in the list when a search is performed.

    If you are using the Android version of the app, can you please do the following;
    Close the app in full ie. swipe it away from your running apps > Go into your Phone Settings > Apps > Reckon STP > Storage > Clear Data

    Restart your phone and then open the app again & login.

    Hi Rav
    My clients have been in this morning, and still no luck.  It is an iphone and i switched off the data, then the phone, put it all on again and logged in with the clients email and password.  As soon as I get to the ABN set up, it does not pick up either the client's ABN or business name, so we are all very frustrated.  I can't see why it does not find the ABN in the search, so I think they are going to have to look at another option.
