We close 20th December for 3 weeks and process all weekly payrolls on the last day.
They will be released progressively by our MD (who does not do payroll).
How do we lodge the STP files for each of these payruns?
There will be W/E 23/12, 30/12 & 6/1/2020.

    Hi Kerrie,
STP pay events can be submitted on the pay date or before ie. you can submit them in advance if required.

    Hi Kerrie

The ATO has also said that if you do not comply in the period up to 30 June 2020 they will not penalise you so you could  simply lodge them upon return to work.

In addition to the above comments Kerrie, I was at an ATO Forum this morning and the ATO are shutting down ALL systems between Christmas & New Years - so any STP files that get submitted during this time - will just sit there and wont be validated until everything is back online.  So as Rav suggests, lodge when you prepare them on 20th December - and all will be good!  Enjoy your holidays!

I also had to submit a STP early as I had a pay run scheduled for when I was overseas in September.  The STP was submitted when the pay was prepared... 10 days earlier than the actual money transfer and all went well.
