Hi, I had an issue with Payroll.
Employees with 130k annual salary fortnightly pay PAYE calculation is different in Reckon compared to IRD calculation. Could you let me know why this is, please?

I also find that the Student Loan deductions are different in Reckon from what IRD calculated too.

Could someone let me know why this is or how to fix it to match IRD deductions, please?

    Hi Sepalika

In Australia we have the ATO (& PAYG) rather than IRD (& PAYE) so I’m wondering if you are in NZ & have setup/are using the AU version rather than the NZ version ?

Although the interface will essentially be/look the same as the Australian version, the NZ Reckon Accounts Hosted (like NZ RA desktop programs) is configured specifically for NZ taxes/payroll etc.

For the NZ RAH, you should be logging in via: https://hostednz.reckon.com/RAHV2/ReckonAccountsLogon.aspx

For the AU RAH, you should be logging in via: https://hosted.reckon.com/RAHV2/ReckonAccountsLogon.aspx

    Thanks Shaz.
Found out after doing a bit of searching that IRD (NZ) online tax calculator is somehouse making a mistake compared to their official 2021 Tax tables.
