Im having trouble generating BAS reports. Last quarter Jan 1 - March 31, i was able to generate a BAS report from Jan 1 to March 29. But if i included March 30 or 31 the report would glitch and dissapear. I have also tried to generate a report for the current quarter Apr 1 - June 30 with the same issue. Any ideas where to look for a problem?

In the first instance I have no idea as to how you are managing to even input dates.  The standard BAS reporting periods are Annually, Quarterly and Monthly and Reckon automatically selects the start and finish date based on selecting one of those options.  What are you doing that is different to this?

(John, I'm guessing M8ey is referring to reports rather than the integrated BAS form itself …?)

M8tey, have you tried verifying & rebuilding your company file in case there is some background data corruption?

You can find both these options under the “File” dropdown menu > “Utilities

After running the “Verify Data” process, run the “Rebuild Data” 3 times – for some reason, 3 times often fixes a lot of issues!

Thankyou for your reply. Yes you are correct, i entered custom dates in report centre to see what date i could go out to. I spoke to my local Reckon advisor and through remote networking she was able to run validation and super validation and it fixed the problem. Some files were corrupt. All sorted Thankyou Ben

Hi John. In report centre you are able to select BAS and then select custom dates. Cheers Ben
