    I would think you won’t have to do anything, just don’t pay any topup. I’m waiting for the webinar tomorrow to double check on procedures

    @Jenny Byrne

    No specific action is required – You just cease making topup payments & no longer submit the monthly claim/declaration 😁

    Does that mean that I do not to show JOBKEEPER-FINISH-FN14 on the payslips. Kris when does the webinar start tomorrow?

    This is exactly the question I had @Jenny Byrne ! Ie. No action required to end Job Keeper. Thank-you! Did you notify all of your declared employees? I am thinking we should, perhaps?🤔 But nothing required by law???

    Further to this conversation, @Kris_Williams, following the webinar, were there any further actions required? Or is it as simple as stop paying and coding to FN-xx?

    Thank-you kindly,

    Nothing to do, you don't need the FN Finish just stop paying any topup. Advising staff would be a polite gesture. In fact I have read instances where people put FN Finish 13 and then didn’t get paid Jobkeeper for that week

    As Kris mentions it is a polite gesture to notify employees that JobKeeper is no longer being claimed.

    I know of one case of an employee with two part-time jobs who has not lost work as a result of covid-19. As a consequence of the employer who was claiming JK ceasing to qualify, the second employer is now claiming it. No change in total remuneration to the employee but one additional employer gaining some relief through JK.

    Just a heads up - It is a requirement for the employer to notify employees (within 7 days of nominating their relevant Tier level to the ATO) as to their status of JK eligibility where employee will be affected (eg Topups)!

    @Bruce Has the employee LEFT the first employer? JK 2 specifically excludes swapping employers UNLESS original (JK-eligible) employment has ended!

    I wasn't aware of the inability to "swap" employers. I'll let them know (it is not a client of mine)
