Submitting Nil STP Report

I have processed 2 pays this financial year and submitted the STP on 20/7/2021.

As I am introducing a HR/Payroll program, I need to submit a zero STP.

I have followed all the steps for submitting a Nil STP Report.

In Step 10. When I upload the .json (notepad) file and confirm to update a previously completed ATO submission or Finalise Year, it reverts to the window where the file sits and will not allow the upload.

I have done all this multiple times, spent over one hour on the phone (3 calls) with Reckon help and still no progress.

Please help.

    Whom told you you have to submit a nil STP? That doesn't sound right at all. Just notify the new software ID and lodge from the new system

    The new HR/Payroll provider told me. I was thinking your suggestion so I will do that today and see what what happens. Thank you for your advice.

    Im sure he did. And I'm almost positive he's not sure why he told you that.
