Multiuser issues and unable to print

Have just updated to 2021 and new tax update on main desktop then saved both downloads to USB and uploaded to second desktop. Both installed but dont link with each other. Main desktop is in multi user mode second is in single user mode. Additional problem when I try to print on main desktop get msg :

File you specified cannot be open make sure it is not being used by another program or a read only file.


Obviously I have done something wrong - how to correct it please.

    Ooh if I still click that msg a couple of times it lets me print!
