STP file I want to replace is not given as an option

When submitting today's (5 Jan) pay run, I saw that a December 22 payrun had an error.

The error was in the postcode (too many digits) of a new employee in that payrun only (no prior and no subsequent).

I created a full file replacement .JSON, but when attempting to upload it, I'm not given the option to replace the December 22 file, only the payruns preceding and following it.

Can I leave the December 22 file with its trivial error, or will I have to find a way to replace it?

Thanks,

Karen

You can leave it as the figures are included in subsequent submissions

    Ditto as per Kris’s reply.

FYI You can only replace a successful submission. An error means the submission didn’t go through, meaning the file’s not actually there to “replace” 😊

STP submissions update YTD balances each time (rather than just that pay run’s totals) which is great as any subsequent corrections or changes made will automatically be reflected on the next successful submission 😁
