Employee License Expiry
Is there any way we can enter Employee License expiry dates under each employee like you can do with Workcover for Suppliers? We are in the Building Industry and some of our employees need specialised licenses and to manage this easier and more effective it would be nice to pop reminders in..... any useful hints besides using a calendar?

Nope. Someone will tell you to use custom fields but they won't be formatted as dates. And they won't be searchable either. It's a very odd request. I've never seen it in the other software

@Peta Would certainly be good to have employee licence/permit/cert fields! It's actually a common requirement, particularly for trades & professional services - Make sure you add this to the Reckon Ideas https://ideas.reckon.com/ so that others can vote for it too! (The more votes a request has, the more likely it will be considered in future updates)
Yes, as Zappy has said, utilising the Custom fields is the only current workaround - As mentioned, they are text fields by default but they are reportable/searchable. The key is deciding on a date format & sticking to it! Eg 21/02/22 v 21/2/22 v 21/2/2022. That way, although a search/report can't be date generated, you'll be able to search the Custom fields for a specific date.

@Zappy It depends what filters/report you're using ...? Like other fields, it will only be visible in certain detail reports. (Must be user error then as it works for me! 😁)
